Policy

The CONNEXIA Policy sets out the company’s strategies in regard to choices, development, organisation and management control, in order to pursue the following main objectives:

  • To carry out, in line with the requirements of its Integrated System compliant with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI ISO 20121:2013, SA 8000:2014, the organization and staging of events, fairs, conferences, shows and national and international exhibitions; the development of communication campaigns;
  • To implement the improvement measures resulting from analysis of internal and external context, analysis of risks and opportunities in terms of quality and sustainable management of events;
  • To meet the needs and expectations of the relevant parties;
  • To respect the requirements set out and to comply with the same through:
    • Specialised personnel for the type of services provided;
    • Ongoing staff training to share knowledge, provide access to data and management methods, and share a system of sustainability objectives and values;
    • Monitoring services provided from planning to post-event activities, including final outcomes, both positive and negative;
    • Control of supplies and outsourcing;
    • Checking compliance with contractual commitments and all stakeholder commitments;
    • Checking end user requirements;
    • Compliance with applicable legislation and industry standards;
    • Leadership involvement in the quality of services offered and in sustainable event management;
    • Compliance with the statement of intent and values;
    • Organisation-wide involvement in compliance with the quality and sustainable development objectives.
  • Implementation of internal and external means of communication to improve the flow of information and to ensure that stakeholder requirements are known and understood by all.
  • Defining measures for the continuous improvement and optimization of services and processes.
  • Compliance with all Social Responsibility requirements;
  • Provision of adequate staff training and education in terms of Social Responsibility;
  • Evaluating and selecting suppliers and sub-contractors based on whether they are able to meet the Social Responsibility requirements or not;
  • Taking appropriate measures and/or corrective actions to address any concerns raised by employees or relevant stakeholders regarding Social Responsibility;
  • Publicising social responsibility achievements;
  • Refraining from any kind of punitive action against personnel who raise Social Responsibility issues, concerns or questions.

CONNEXIA undertakes, together with its clients and other relevant parties, to carry out organisational management of events based on the key principles set out in the declaration of intent:

  • Management: consistent with the objectives and implemented with a view to continuous improvement;
  • Inclusivity: taking into account the needs of participants and stakeholders;
  • Integrity: adherence to ethical principles;
  • Transparency: fundamental in the reporting phase for circular communication with stakeholders.

It is the clear responsibility of the Board of Directors to draw up this Policy and make it available to all stakeholders in order to pursue the general objectives set out above. Further detailed, measurable objectives will be put forward and analysed in the Management review and will be included in an annual Improvement Plan, which forms an integral part of this Policy.

The adequacy of this Policy will be reviewed during the annual reviews. The Board of Directors has appointed an Integrated Management System Manager (COO), who has the necessary authority and resources to ensure the system complies with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI ISO 20121:2013 and SA 8000:2014 standards, ensure that it is properly applied in order that it can be improved and report to the Board on its performance. The Board of Directors shall entrust the key heads of department with the responsibility and authority to implement the System operationally in the areas for which they are responsible. The Board of Directors is committed to fulfilling the provisions of the Policy and undertakes to make the necessary resources available as far as it is able.
